James Beard-nominated chef Jenner Tomaska leads Petite Edith, the French bistro he and Katrina Bravo opened in Chicago's River North in 2025. He is chef and co-owner of the Michelin-starred Esmé, and his career runs through some of Chicago's most celebrated kitchens — MK, Next, and Alinea. At Petite Edith, he trades tasting-menu formality for the warmth of a neighborhood bistro: French technique applied to seafood-forward, seasonal cooking, shaped by Midwestern hospitality and built to be shared.

Katrina Bravo is co-owner and creative director of Petite Edith, and one half of the husband-and-wife team behind Michelin-starred Esmé. She shapes the restaurant's design, atmosphere, and sense of welcome — translating French elegance into a room that feels generous and personal. Her belief that hospitality should be both refined and deeply human runs through every detail, from the space to the way each guest is received.
